Things to do

There are many fantastic things to do within easy reach of Croft Foot Farm.

We are perfectly placed between the historic towns of Kendal and Sedbergh, with the Lake District in one direction and the Yorkshire Dales in the other. Kendal is a large market town, with many independent shops, bars and a thriving food scene – well-worth taking the time to explore. Sedbergh is the gateway to the Dales and is England’s book town, with fantastic cafes and book shops. Whatever you are hoping to do on your holiday, it can be found within easy reach!

Here are some suggestions of places to visit. There are many more possibilities nearby, with plenty of public footpaths, bridleways and country roads to help you explore the world-class scenery on your doorstep.
